What is Nevada Energy Assistance Program (EAP)?
The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) assists low-income Nevadans with their home energy needs by providing qualified households with an annual benefit credited to their utility account. The benefit amount varies based on household size, income, and energy usage.
Households may receive assistance with arrearages (past due bills) when funding is available. Arrearages assistance is limited to once in a lifetime.

A person who participates or has family members who participate in certain other benefit programs, such as SNAP, SSI, TANF, automatically meets the eligibility requirement.
In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
